You’ve surely heard of Messenger, so it’s time you hear about Messenger Lite: Free Calls & Messages. It is a Lite (Light) version of well-known Messenger and it’s an original Facebook app as well. They understood the troubles of people who live in some of the worse parts of town. For example, the Internet just isn’t great there, or your phone doesn’t have the capability for Messenger. You won’t have to worry you’ll miss a call from a friend or significant other, as Messenger Lite: Free Calls & Messages supports even the old Android 2.1. Why not give it a try, and download it from the official link at the top?

Messenger Lite: Free Calls and Messages Description

Facebook removed their Inbox feature this year and replaced it with Messenger. It was done so the website can be linked to Android and iOS app, and everything can be synced. Don’t get us wrong, Messenger app is great, but we think Messenger Lite: Free Calls & Messages is even better! Not only does it take less than 10MB of space on your phone, it has lower requirements as well. That means you can use it on your old and forgotten phone in order to chat or audio call with your friends and family. The best part – it’s completely free of charge, just like Messenger is.

Another great thing – it’s specially optimized for bad Internet connections where you need a less-hungry option to communicate. You’ll be happy to hear that it’s a salvation if you’re one of those with a limited data plan. You have to watch what you’re doing constantly in order not to overdo your provider’s plan, and pay extra fees. Messenger Lite: Free Calls & Messages takes way fewer data to function, and retains all the key features you know and love. It is obviously compatible with Facebook and Messenger, so you’ll be able to talk, chat, send stickers and more.

Features of the Messenger Lite: Free Calls & Messages app:

  • You can talk privately or make a big group
  • Create plans with your friends effortlessly and for free
  • It is compatible with Facebook, Messenger and Messenger Lite
  • Check your friends’ available status, know exactly when they’re here
  • You can send photos, links, videos of your favorite things
  • Show some emotion with stickers and emojis.
  • Use your mobile data to chat and call, it uses way less
  • Use your Wi-Fi connection to talk and audio call, talk as long as you want
  • Doesn’t matter where the other person is located, you only need Internet connection

I started using Messenger Lite on my old Android smartphone. It is available on literally all mobile devices and smartphones, starting with Android 2.0. And that one is pretty old, trust me. I managed to install this app on my HTC Wildfire S, and that’s a miracle. It still works great, I manage to chat with my friends, send pictures and videos, albeit a bit slower. But it’s way better than I expected, if you’ve got a grandma or a relative, install it for them.

I just love Messenger Lite. It’s everything the Messenger is, but more! Not only did it retain all the features, but it takes under 10MB of storage. It is specially designed for those with an older phone, and even with Android 2.1 you can install and use it. Plus, you can make some low-cost calls by using your mobile data, and it won’t hurt you as much, thanks to the optimization they put in. What can I say, I recommend it to everyone who has a phone with lower specs.

I agree with the girl, that’s why I decided to leave a comment. Messenger Lite is literally magical. I do own a good Android device with some good specs, but why waste them on a full Messenger app? Messenger Lite has all the features, audio calling, texting, stickers, and emojis. But in return, it only takes about 10MB of your space. And that space is precious and builds up pretty fast, and then you end up cleaning the cache to survive. In the end, I can’t recommend this communication app enough.
