Messenger is one of the most useful apps for your smartphone, as it allows for smooth chatting with your friends on Facebook. Messenger is the only tool for communicating with your Facebook friends, thus being the staple of your Android, iOS and Microsoft Windows device. Aside from that, Messenger offers many new options like sending SMS, video and audio calling with top-notch quality. Messenger introduced stories, which you can see in apps like Instagram, which makes Messenger a full-fledged social media app. Messenger is free app, although it’s not the most compact out there, but if you want to chat with your Facebook friends, you’ll need it.

Messenger Description

When the Facebook app has been released for the smartphones, Messenger wasn’t quite popular as you could chat directly on Facebook. However, Messenger is now a staple of communication and offers many new features for messaging, video and audio calling and even introduced something like Story on Instagram. Messenger is now a full-fledged tool for messaging, where you can communicate with the people from Facebook, but also send SMS and create various chat groups. Messenger now supports video calls, which works well and could be a great substitute for Skype.

Of course, Messenger is free for every platform out there, including Android, iOS and Microsoft Windows. If you have a Facebook account, Messenger is a  must-have app if you want to chat on Facebook. However, the app tends to take a little more space in your storage when it’s installed, but that should be a little more than 100 MB. Messenger is now the most used app for smartphones, and allows for detailed searching of your contacts, with the possibility to search by name and even phone number, as you can also call using Messenger. It doesn’t need any more describing, if you have a Facebook account, you know what we are talking about.

I’m a big lover of Android phones, and a Facebook user as well. I really love Messenger app and I use it on daily basis. It helps me to stay in touch wherever I am, and my friends certainly appreciate it. I have a Wi-Fi connection at home, so why use my mobile data and pay the provider when I can just talk to my friends for an unlimited amount of time? The best thing – it’s completely free.

What can be said about Messenger? I believe there isn’t a person that has Internet access that hasn’t heard of it. It is simply the best when it comes to communicating with your Facebook friends. They expanded the features of Messenger app, even more, you can now audio call, leave voice messages, send emojis and stickers. Download this one if you want to be available on the go.

I don’t know what to think about Messenger. Yes, it’s useful and works great most of the time. But, in case your storage is limited, and my phone came with very low internal storage, it’s a nightmare. Data gets built up really quick, and I have to delete cache a lot. It helped when I disabled Messenger from saving local data of pictures I sent, but still… Even the base version took around 50MB of my space. Other than that, really great and useful app, but maybe you should take a look at Lite version.
